Majora's Mask

For my laser cutting test piece I recreated a layered Majora's Mask from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Using illustrator I vector traced each layer of an image of the mask. After some tweaking and deciding material thicknesses by importing the vectors them into Soldiworks to visualize the entire mask I laser cut it on Olin College's Epilog Helix laser cutter. Finally I sanded, spraypainted, and sealed them to complete the piece to be used as a wall decoration. Since then I have made more and frequently give them out as gifts to friends who are fans of the series or video games in general. The original hangs proudly in my brother's college dorm room.
